TSS at the Royal Cheshire County Show

We attended the Royal Cheshire County Show again this year and enjoyed meeting many schools and visitors to the show.

We also ran the onsite Shuttle Bus service and managed the Shuttle Bus services coming in from Knutsford and Hartford Stations very successfully. Since then we’ve received lots of positive feedback about these services from the organisers and members of the public.

The bus services linking Knutsford and Hartford Stations were redesigned this year after Neil ‘Topman’ Ennion saw first hand in 2016 that services found it almost impossible to keep to the timetable, due to traffic congestion around the Showground. As a result we met with the show Director Nigel Evans in April to discuss changing to a Shuttle-style service, and this worked very well indeed. Neil also gathered usage statistics for the organisers.

“Thanks for the feedback information, very interesting and very useful. Topman really is a Top Man! Many thanks for the provision of this invaluable service to the show, it is clearly well appreciated.”

Our ‘lollipop’ competition attracted 110 entries and our apprentice Molly went to Smallwood School to present the young winner with his correctly guessed 127 lollipops, which he was encouraged to share with his school chums!
