As operators reduced some services, we had to make sure that there was still transport available to get key workers to work and when the 391/2 service contract was handed back, we put on one of our own fleet minibuses to make sure that staff at Stepping Hill hospital could access their place of work.
We ran this service for a number of weeks as a contribution to protecting the NHS and saving lives, until the contract was awarded to Go Goodwins.
We also ensured the bus timetable information on the Cheshire East website was kept up to date despite frequent changes and we kept the data feed to traveline and other travel apps as accurate as possible.
