TSS Provides free transport to help Beechmere residents meet for Sunday dinner

We were shocked and saddened to hear about the fire at Beechmere Residential Retirement Village in Crewe, which left residents without their homes and possessions. So when we heard that they were looking for volunteers to provide free transport once a week so that former residents could meet up for free Sunday roast dinners at Hopes and Beams in Crewe, we were keen to help.

Fleet and Compliance Manager, Ian Mottershead.

We provided a free minibus and our Fleet Manager, Ian Mottershead volunteered to drive it, picking up residents and then dropping them off after the get-together. TSS and our drivers are supporting residents over the next few weeks using one of our purpose-built, fully accessible minibuses. The passengers were very grateful for the transport and the chance to meet with friends and even invited Ian to stay for lunch!
