In September 2016, TSS became a ‘Disability Confident’ employer

We are proud to be recognised as a ‘Disability Confident’ employer who recruits and retains those with disabilities and health conditions for their skills and talent.

Being ‘Disability Confident’ is a positive initiative which can benefit businesses by:

  • enabling them to secure high quality staff who are skilled, loyal and hard working
  • saving time and money on the costs of recruitment and training by reducing staff turnover

Disability Confident challenges attitudes towards disability and removes barriers to disabled people and those with long term health conditions in employment.

It also increases understanding of disability and ensures that everyone has the opportunity to fulfill their potential and realise their aspirations.

This new scheme has replaced the Jobcentre Plus approved 'two ticks' scheme.
